2009 Chevrolet Traverse LT1 AWD
he Chevrolet Traverse is a full-size crossover SUV built on the GM Lambda platform that underpins the GMC Acadia. It replaces the long-wheelbase Uplander minivan and Chevrolet TrailBlazer SUV (both vehicles will be phased out after 2009), and will be built in Spring Hill, Tennessee; the former Saturn Production facility. The former Saturn Plant (where the Saturn S-Series, Saturn ION , and Saturn VUE were produced from 1990-2007) was shut down at the end of March 2007 to be refitted for production of the Traverse.
Chevrolet's answer to the 2009 Ford Flex, the 2009 Chevrolet Traverse debuted at the 2008 Chicago Auto Show and will arrive in showrooms in the fall of 2008. The Traverse has been featured in promos for the new NBC drama show My Own Worst Enemy along with the new Chevrolet Camaro.
